The Hotels and Holidays (H+H) Partnerships team has responsibility for the hotels partnership strategy, commercial relationships across all H+H business verticals and the end-to-end supply of hotel inventory sold via Qantas Groups’ branded distribution channels.

As Hotels and Holidays continues to scale, working with strategic partners and technology solutions will enable sustained growth and enhanced operational efficiencies. The Connectivity Implementation Specialist role is required for a 12-month fixed-term period, to assist with the implementation of core strategic partners.

The Connectivity Implementation Specialist will be primarily responsible for leadership and end-to-end success of the Project implementation, bridging the gap between strategic planning and practical execution working alongside key teams to ensure effective delivery through providing ongoing support and ensuring alignment to strategic direction.

This role reports into the Connectivity and Operations Manager in Hotels and Holidays Partnerships, providing leadership support and owning the development of implementation strategy and planning, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in scheduling, governance, troubleshooting and coordinating all phases of deployment.

The Connectivity Implementation Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during the implementation process, taking responsibility for the timely completion of workstream deliverables, within budget, and to the required quality standards, maximising adoption, ultimately achieving the desired business and contractual outcomes. The role will take responsibility for the regular updating of key project risks, decision points and improvement opportunities. Furthermore, the Connectivity Implementation Specialist will partner with the internal and external stakeholders to embed an operational support model including monitoring and managing the operational performance to ensure there are effective business processes to manage system issues within expected timelines and SLAs.

You’ll have:

  • 5+ years of strategy implementation and/or analytical experience
  • Sound Project experience and proven background of implementing change in Sales, Product & Operational environments and preferably, technology implementation experience.
  • Knowledge of methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, Kaizen, and Value Stream Analysis to identify and eliminate waste and optimize workflows
  • Strong communicator at all levels, influential, organised and effective.
  • Ability to manage complex relationships across multiple business units, influence and challenge effectively
  • Team player. Customer focused. High level of motivation and leadership skills. Capability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Qantas product, processes, and commercial strategy
