The Platform Lead - Infrastructure Security will lead and oversee a team performing daily operations, platform improvements, currency uplift and project delivery across the Jetstar Infrastructure Security estate.

The role Implements and supports IT plans, programs and tools either directly or through others, to deliver against short-mid term strategy and meet the needs of business partners.

The Platform Lead maintains effective relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure interests of area are protected and achieved both tactically and strategically oversee scoping, design, testing and implementation of service improvements and/or efficiency reviews to continuously deliver ‘fit for purpose’ IT services that align to business needs.

They will oversee system, application or process administration and management which may include incident management, maintenance, security monitoring or knowledge management, to support reliable delivery of IT services. A substantial portion of this role will involve project work and continuous improvement work.

Jetstar’s IT infrastructure and systems are critical to Jetstar operations across ANZ, Asia and Japan.

Key Result Areas

  • ITIL Service Focus, ensure the Infrastructure Security team responds to and resolves incidents, service requests, changes and problems
  • Infrastructure Hardening & Patch Management, Vulnerability scanning and remediation
  • Maintain and track currency of the various hardware and software required to run and support the Datacentre environment
  • Uplifting existing systems and management tools
  • Build strong relationships within the federated tech teams
  • Build strong relationships with support vendors

Knowledge, skills, and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT
  • Industry related certification in Cyber Security (AZ-500, CC, CCSP, SCS-C02, CompTIA Security+)
  • ITIL foundation
  • 5+ years’ Cyber Security experience in mid to large size environments
  • Working in collaborative team environments and to deadlines
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Server Patching, SCCM, Cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Vulnerability Management tools (Qualys)
  • Center for Internet Security
  • Service Now
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with on and offshore teams
  • Ability to lead people, manage and mentor members of the team
  • Ability to manage incidents well and work well under pressure

There is an expectation that in the rare situation where a production system is experiencing a P1 outage, a Platform Lead who possesses a particular skill set or knowledge may be called upon to assist with a production outage. In some cases, this may occur outside of business hours whereby best effort would be expected.
