Airports Customer Service & Lounges

Make every journey memorable with a warm and helpful interaction at the airport. As the first point of contact, our airport customer service team embodies professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness. We offer three main areas of customer service at the airport:

Customer Service Agents

Our Airport Customer Service Agents assist seasoned business travellers and first-time holidaymakers, across various locations including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, Canberra, regional areas like Alice Springs, Cairns, Townsville, and international ports in New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, the UK, and the Americas.

Baggage Services

More than just a friendly, efficient, and professional manner, our baggage services roles require resilience and a thorough knowledge of WorldTracer systems, policies and procedures relevant to Qantas Baggage Services. Supporting our customers with baggage enquiries, search and locate and reconnecting with lost property across our network.

Lounge Agents and Hosts

From the luxurious decor to the gourmet à la carte menus, the Qantas Lounge experience offers new level of luxury before passengers step onboard. Our Lounges teams provide an extension of this experience – a personalised service to Qantas Premium Customers across domestic and international lounges.

Frequently Asked Questions

All our customer service employees work part-time.

The customer service schedule is managed through a roster system and organised into shifts.

We provide all the information you need about salaries during our recruitment process. Our Customer Service employees are employed under Enterprise Agreements that apply to employees in each employing entity. 

All successful candidates must complete and pass a pre-employment medical and ASIC check. Employees must also provide two professional references as part of the reference checking process.
