Reporting to the Manager of Continuous Improvement, the Ancillary Business Analyst plays a key role in advancing continuous improvement initiatives within the Seat Ancillaries team, covering seating logic, chargeable seating, paid upgrades and associated policies. The analyst supports the planning and delivery of improvement strategies, leveraging best-practice methodologies to implement innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Seat Ancillary portfolio—ultimately driving improved customer experiences.

With strong analytical skills and a keen interest in technology, the Ancillary Business Analyst is adept at developing and generating reports and using data-driven insights from both customer feedback and performance data to evaluate and enhance features and processes. They assist decision-makers by providing relevant information, supporting the creation of quality assurance testing solutions, and clearly articulating how features and processes work.

The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to evaluate current processes, identify inefficiencies and opportunities, implement optimized practices, and monitor key performance indicators. The Ancillary Business Analyst contributes to innovation efforts that deliver measurable outcomes in the short, medium, and long term.

You’ll have –

  • Minimum of 3 years in an analytical role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field—preferably technology, business, commerce, or aviation
  • Strong ability to solve complex, strategic problems
  • Demonstrated success in meeting targets and deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong initiative
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, including both day-to-day collaboration and facilitation of structured workshops
  • Solid understanding of change management principles
  • Proficient in process optimisation
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Advanced critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
