Reporting to the Head of Inclusion, Wellbeing & Belonging, the Senior Manager, Respect & Inclusion leads the strategic development and enterprise-wide implementation of the 'Everyday Respect & Inclusion' pillar—a foundational element of the Qantas Group's Inclusion strategy.

The role encompasses thought leadership, strategic stakeholder engagement, and comprehensive program management to embed Everyday Respect & Inclusion across all business functions. This includes developing integrated approaches that align with the Group Management System (GMS) while advancing data insights, reporting frameworks, education, training, and communications capabilities.

Working within our Psychosocial Health and Safety risk management approach, the Senior Manager conducts risk assessments, provides expert advice, and ensures initiatives become part of everyday business practices. They collaborate closely with teams across the organization to implement these initiatives while ensuring they align with our broader Inclusion, Wellbeing, People, and Safety priorities.

You’ll have –

  • Minimum 10 years HR, WHS, Risk or Program Management experience with a focus
    on leading multidisciplinary strategies in complex environments
  • Bachelor qualification in WHS, Business, Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Psychology or Coaching
  • This is a senior leadership role which requires a high level of understanding of
    culture and the impact of organisational culture
  • Project & Program Delivery: Proven ability in project management, program design, delivery, and process simplification.
  • Analytical & Data Skills: Advanced analytical, research, and data interpretation skills with a track record of driving data-informed decisions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Highly skilled in stakeholder management, communication, and relationship building across diverse and complex environments.
  • People & Culture Leadership: Experienced in managing and influencing teams (direct and indirect), with a strong grasp of organisational culture, emotional intelligence, and change leadership.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability & Results-Driven: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and deliver results under pressure.
  • Technical & Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Workers Compensation, WHS, industrial relations, and HR policies and practices.
