As the Senior Commercial Dealing Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance on a range of opportunities, deals, partnerships, and prioritisation decisions, ultimately supporting delivery of the Retail Tribe’s OKRs (Objectives and key results).

This role involves challenging existing deal structures and providing commercial leadership to develop new deal constructs for partners within a dynamic loyalty environment. The goal is to achieve optimal results for Qantas Loyalty, its partners, and Qantas Frequent Flyers. The Commercial Performance Manager Lead will collaborate with the Tribe and Squad leadership on business performance, prioritising initiatives, strategic objectives, and delivering OKRs. This manager will also proactively handle complex commercial modelling and develop new approaches and methods to deliver stakeholder business value / outcomes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7-10+ years’ experience in complex corporate environments with exposure to
    strategy formulation and execution, financial accounting and/or economics with
    significant experience supporting business performance
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline
  • Strong analytical ability to model complex commercial constructs
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and ability to effectively engage at
    executive levels 
  • Strategic thinking skills with strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work under pressure
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
