Ground Support Equipment Technician (Heavy Vehicle)

Located in our Ground Support team, your role as a Ground Support Equipment Technician will see you upholding all maintenance-both corrective and preventative, on motorised and non-motorised vehicles and equipment. You will also be responsible for using the IFS Maintenance system to capture maintenance activities. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a range of stakeholders across engineering, airports and freight ensuring service level agreements are met with the highest standard of safety and compliance.

You’ll have –

• A trade certificate in Automotive, boilermaker, or equivalent (heavy stream preferred), with a minimum of 3 years post trade experience preferably
• Fabrication and welding experience will be highly regarded
• Diagnostic and repair skills with an understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems is desirable
• The ability to adapt under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Dedication to maintaining safe work practices and environment
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
• Sound computer literacy
• Ability to work shift work – mornings and afternoons
• Previous ground support equipment maintenance experience (advantageous)
• An Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket is highly desirable
• A Forklift license (highly desirable)
