Job Description

Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of aircraft from our base at Perth Airport. We specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying.

Join Network Aviation as the Manager Operational Transformation in a fixed-term position to support the E190 Entry-Into-Service (EIS), the phased retirement of the F100 fleet, and broader operational transformation initiatives across Network Aviation. Reporting to the Head of E190 EIS Program Delivery, this role will lead project planning and execution across multiple workstreams, with direct accountability for the operational transformation stream. Key responsibilities include stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, change adoption, and the development of supporting frameworks and governance structures. The role will coordinate cross-functional working groups across Network Aviation AOC, Network Planning, Scheduling, ROC, Airport, Customer, Technology, and other business areas to deliver transformation outcomes. With a direct impact on approximately 1,000 operational and third-party staff across multiple ports, this role will influence fleet transition timelines, on-time performance, and customer experience. The successful candidate will also lead change management, risk planning, and communication strategies, while partnering with senior stakeholders to address ongoing business challenges and embed high-performance practices.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 7 + years’ experience in a relevant field
  • Degree level qualification or experience in project management, aviation, commerce  
  • Demonstrated capability working in complex systems
  • Proven planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in compiling procedures or technical policy
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience in change management and implementing operational improvements in partnership with stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
