We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Base Manager to take charge of our Brisbane Base. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead and support a team of pilots, drive an inclusive workplace culture, and be at the forefront of operational excellence. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and inspire a team of pilots, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Manage and oversee key workforce aspects, including scheduling, leave, performance, and workplace conduct.
• Be the go-to expert on the Pilot Enterprise Agreement, ensuring compliance and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement, implementing innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Navigate industrial relations with confidence, fostering strong relationships with pilots and stakeholders.
• Oversee workplace safety & wellbeing, including fitness for work and return-to-work programs.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Proven leadership experience, with a passion for building high-performing teams.
• A strong background in operational or people-focused roles.
• Experience managing HR and IR-related matters, including performance, grievances, and compliance.
• The ability to foster collaboration and positive engagement across teams.
• A continuous improvement mindset—always looking for ways to enhance efficiency and culture.
• Preferred: Degree-level qualification and/or Australian Air Transport Management experience.
