As the Senior Finance Analyst - Airline Loyalty and Partner Airline, you will be responsible for managing financial control, forecasting analysis and reporting activities to ensure the consolidated result supports the Qantas Loyalty Group in its decision making.

You will be accountable for critical financial business models and partner with key stakeholders to forecast and close the month result. You will also be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, capex reporting and work with Qantas Group on statutory reporting requirements. This role also possesses an eye for continuous improvement opportunities, and drive improvements across our existing processes.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA qualified)
  • Experience in a financial management and accounting role with 3-5 years experience
  • Very good excel skills with ability to create and update business forecast and
    reporting models
  • Familiarity with large scale finance systems would be highly regarded, in particular
    Oracle and Hyperion
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with wide variety of stakeholders,
    including senior stakeholders, in the business
  • People leadership and development skills
  • Demonstrated initiative to solve problems and instigate new ways of working
  • Well-developed analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, and work to drive team outcomes
  • Drive and motivation to work across a wide scope of work
  • Strong initiative to apply accounting knowledge to day to day situations and problems
