Reporting to the Executive Manager, Group Organisational Development and Inclusion, you'll play a pivotal role in aligning employee experience with Qantas' group purpose, values, and behaviours to foster a high-performance, inclusive, and values-led culture that directly impacts customer satisfaction and business success.

What you’ll be doing 

As the Head of Employee Experience, you will: 

  • Lead our Group-wide employee listening and insights strategy that drives strategic workforce decisions through real-time feedback, analytics, and storytelling. 

  • Champion culture, purpose, and values across the Qantas Group, ensuring they are aligned across leadership behaviours and decision-making frameworks. 

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle experience—including onboarding, engagement, recognition, and EVP. 

  • Lead and evolve Qantas’ internal and external EVP strategy, partnering closely with employer brand, talent, and communications teams. 

About you 

You’re an experienced employee experience or culture leader with: 

  • A proven track record in leading complex people initiatives in large organisations. 

  • Deep expertise in engagement, culture, EVP, and employee insights strategies. 

  • Experience influencing at the executive level and using workforce data to drive business outcomes. 

  • The ability to design inclusive, human-centred strategies that scale across diverse employee groups. 

  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, combined with a passion for people and purpose.
