This is your opportunity to shape and embed a future-ready leadership and capability strategy that fuels our purpose, performance, and culture across the Group – help us write the next chapter of what it means to be proud to belong to the Spirit of Australia.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and deliver frontline leadership and professional development frameworks that support growth, performance, and progression across the Group.

  • Embed our Group Capability Framework to inform talent, performance, succession, and career planning initiatives.

  • Partner closely with our HR Business Partners to deliver tailored, high-impact leadership solutions.

  • Leverage internal and external insights to ensure Qantas remains at the forefront of leadership and learning innovation.

What you’ll bring

You’re an expert in organisational and leadership development with:

  • Extensive experience in executive and professional development, ideally within complex and fast-paced organisations.

  • Proven success designing and delivering enterprise-wide leadership strategies, frameworks, and high-impact interventions.

  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of adult learning and organisational psychology.

  • A collaborative, credible presence with experience coaching senior leaders and influencing at the highest levels.

  • Passion for building inclusive, capable, and future-fit workforces.

  • We have flexible leave options: Make use of leave and flexible working opportunities including 18 weeks paid parental leave (plus superannuation payments on all paid and unpaid parental leave until your child turns 1) and additional purchased leave options for eligible employees.

You can also take advantage of our salary packaging program including motor vehicles, eligible portable electronic devices and professional memberships.

  • We’ll support your wellbeing: Whether it’s learning to better support your own and others’ mental health, our interactive wellbeing app or your very own tailored nutrition plan.
