Join us as an Organisational Development Manager and help shape the future of the Qantas Group. In this pivotal role, you’ll bring the Group People strategy to life—aligning Organisational Development initiatives with both current and future business priorities. Your focus will span key areas including Performance and Employee Experience. 

As a trusted subject matter expert, you’ll provide strategic, research-driven, and practical guidance to design and deliver impactful Organisational Development solutions. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across the Group, you’ll translate organisational needs into tailored programs that drive performance and engagement at every level.

What you’ll be doing:

As Organisational Development Manager, you will: 

  • Lead the design and execution of strategic OD initiatives aligned with the Group People strategy, focusing on Performance and Employee Experience, including Recognition and Culture. 
  • Develop and deliver research-based, high-impact solutions that address both enterprise-wide and business unit-specific needs. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Qantas Group to translate organisational insights into tailored programs that drive a high performance culture. 
  • Influence and guide key decisions through strong program management, thought leadership, and effective partnerships across the People function and external experts. 

About you: 

  • 5–7 years’ experience designing and delivering Organisational Development programs 
  • Degree in Organisational Psychology, HR, or a related field 
  • Proven expertise in Performance and Employee Experience including Recognition and Culture within dynamic, fast-paced environments 
  • Strong track record in leading strategic people initiatives in commercial settings 
  • Skilled in building senior stakeholder relationships and providing sound, influential advice 
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and adaptability 
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence through resistance 
  • Confident communicator and coach with strong executive presence 
  • Broad HR knowledge across talent, performance and employee experience  
  • Strong critical and creative thinking to drive effective problem-solving
