As the Senior Agile Business Analyst, you will drive the business strategy of assigned squads and translate them into product initiatives. You will analyse customer business strategies and plans, processes and practices, as well as industry trends, to make recommendations in quantifiable terms; to produce benefits such as reduction in unit cost of operation, enhanced productivity, positive decision-making and improving the customer experience.
In this role, you will propose the CVP (Commercial Value Proposition) and business rules to ensure it is technically feasible for delivery, factoring cost to deliver and its viability. You will ensure that we focus on building the right features at the right time, whilst also ensuring the acceptance criteria is adequately defined for overall quality of the solution to be delivered to the customer.
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about customer innovation and have a solid grasp of analytics. You will be experienced in identifying and defining improvements to features, customer and user journey mapping, gathering information to make decisions, ensure quality assurance / test solutions and effectively communicate in detail - how features and processes work, to ensure successful implementation.
You’ll have –
- 5+ year’s of experience as an Agile Business Analyst
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, IT, Engineering, Data science, Applied Math and/or relevant field.
- Knowledge of and passion for data, analytics and innovation
- Expert in comparing data sets to deduce accurate insights
- Strong understanding and use of modern frameworks and their methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, lean, design thinking, human-centred design, multivariate testing, continuous improvement, test automation and others
- Proven track record in gathering, prioritising and communicating requirements both verbally and through user stories, with logical and clear acceptance criteria, that are easily understood by developers, testers and stakeholders
- Expert user in collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence, etc to document and manage stories and other documentation
- Strategic thinker with advanced problem-solving skills to navigate complexity
- Strong commercial acumen
- A strong customer orientation
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels across a complex enterprise, capable of delivering through others
- Thrive through ambiguity and rapidly evolving situations
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Excellent attention to detail
