As the Manager Flight Operations Delivery, you will be responsible for the planning, facilitation and delivery of resource plans, and rostering of all operational activities across Network Aviation Flight Operations. This position provides a leadership function for the Flight Operations Team, as well as facilitates surge activities within day of operations and supporting operational business areas including the ROC and team coordinators.  

Engaging collaboratively with stakeholders, this role ensures the operation is represented to drive improvement through planning and execution of recruitment and training plans together with day of operations impact of planned activities, safety, and technical standards. You will also facilitate the delivery of the business’ strategic goals, and identify and implement transformational opportunities relative to resource planning and delivery. 

You’ll have – 

  • Proven experience in analytics, resource and people management, including managing multiple stakeholders with service providers and delivery of complex resource plans 
  • Previous experience within Aviation or Flight Operations highly regarded 
  • Capability to support the development of others and engage team and stakeholder commitment 
  • Strong prioritisation and organisation skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with demanding deadlines simultaneously 
  • Strong results focus with an emphasis on continuous improvement 
  • Initiative to follow issues, projects and tasks through to completion 
  • Highly developed Leadership skills, particularly in relation to remote workforce 
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer service philosophy 
  • Highly motivated, forward-thinking individual with vision 
  • Experience in flight crew resource planning and management 
  • Articulate with excellent report writing skills 
  • Training or experience in Quality systems management 
  • Knowledge in CAO’s, CASR’s and industry awards
