The Manager, Fatigue Risk Management will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of the Cabin Crew Fatigue Risk Management Program (FRMP), ensuring it aligns with the standards of our CASA-approved system for Flight Crew. This role plays a key part in managing fatigue-related issues, supporting forums, and delivering targeted projects to mitigate fatigue risk across the operation. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will ensure the program remains effective, compliant, and committed to crew wellbeing and operational safety. You will also oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, while leading a small team and engaging with Change Managers, SME leads, and project managers.  

You’ll have: 

  • Proven experience in high-risk industries such as aviation, transport, mining or similar 
  • Strong understanding of fatigue risk management, human factors, and safety systems 
  • Practical application of fatigue science or WHS in operational environments 
  • Confidence engaging with regulators such as CASA, unions, and frontline teams 
  • Skilled at building trust and managing complex stakeholder relationships 
  • Effective communicator with strong influencing and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong commitment to business improvement and supporting change initiatives 
  • Qualifications in WHS, Fatigue Science, or equivalent practical expertise
