Job Description

  • Shape the future of inflight experience – play a pivotal role in influencing how millions of customers experience travel, from cabin design through to service delivery
  • Work at the intersection of data, strategy, and innovation – translate insights into decisions that directly impact customer satisfaction and commercial performance
  • Fulltime role based at our Mascot Campus

At Qantas, we’re constantly challenging ourselves to reinvent the future—finding new ways to connect with customers and enhance their journey. From our humble beginnings in the Queensland outback in 1920 to becoming a global airline, we’ve always taken pride in pushing boundaries.

As part of the Inflight Customer Experience (CX) team, you will be involved in shaping the entire onboard journey—from the moment a customer steps into the aircraft to when they disembark.

As Senior Strategy Analyst, Inflight Experience, you'll use your analytical skills and strategic mindset to uncover insights that drive customer experience improvements. You’ll work across commercial, customer, and operational datasets to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and enhance how we prioritise and measure impact.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys working cross-functionally, and is passionate about customer experience and innovation.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Structured problem-solving and a well-honed consultative approach (e.g. needs gathering, workshop design, recommendations)
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills to communicate strategy and insights at all levels
  • Ability to source, clean, and analyse data (Excel required; Power BI, SQL, Qualtrics desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Finance, IT, Communications, or similar)
  • Passion for aviation and physical experience design is a bonus
