The Manager, E-Commerce Digital Merchandising leads and manages online sales and maximises the digital presence of the Qantas retail e-commerce businesses.  You will be responsible for helping develop and implement digital strategies and ongoing management of digital experience across the various e-commerce channels.

You will work closely with the Marketing Design, Strategy and Revenue Management teams to develop and agree strategy and deliver on marketing programs, as well as the Analytics team to understand and act on both audience and channel performance learnings and opportunities, and digital field to optimise platform performance and delivery. You will collaborate with external stakeholders to resolve significant problems which may impact the overall delivery of our communications going forward. If issues remain unaddressed this would have a significant impact on the profitability of our campaigns This role also involves leading strategies and implementing procedures to ensure that all digital marketing campaigns and projects delivered are consistent with other channels, fulfil business objectives and adhere to Qantas’ masterbrand guidelines and templates.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years in roles related to marketing within diverse digital industries.
  • Tertiary degree in marketing or related field.
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of marketing, particularly digital and email marketing delivery.
  • Proven experience in working with technical platforms and analytics.
  • Strategic and analytical mind
  • Previous experience in budget management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
  • Can develop solutions to highly complex problems both with internal and external stakeholders which is based on analysis and insight.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across a complex set of functions and influence outcomes.
  • Accomplished project manager who can work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively manage resource to achieve maximum productivity and motivate a team.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies and procedures to achieve consistency and profitability.
  • Previous experience in Qantas digital platforms is preferable.
