As Learning Manager Dangerous Goods, you’ll be responsible for the development, delivery and governance of CASA-approved Dangerous Goods training across the Qantas Group. Working across both operational and corporate environments, you’ll ensure our training remains industry-leading, compliant with international and national regulations, and reflective of best practice. You’ll also serve as the CASA-approved Instrument Holder for DG training and represent Qantas at key industry forums including IATA working groups, helping shape the regulatory landscape.

You’ll have:

  • 2+ years’ experience delivering CASA-approved Dangerous Goods training (Group A and above)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • Current CASA Training Instrument of Approval (Groups A–F)
  • In-depth knowledge of IATA, ICAO and CASA Dangerous Goods regulations
  • Strong capability in instructional design, facilitation, and learning technology
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and strategic advisory skills
  • Experience in audit, compliance and investigations within aviation or regulatory environments
