As the Senior Analyst, Digital Investment, you will identify, develop and drive the analysis that supports the investment and commercial decisions across the Digital and Purchasing Experience portfolio. You will be responsible for executing data-driven investigation, assessment and tracking to ensure the success of strategic initiatives that play a crucial role in our digital and customer experience offering.

In this role, you will work closely with the Investment Manager, to assist with budget management and procurement activities, facilitate effective senior leadership meetings, and produce research, reporting, and recommendations on key customer and digital projects, or in response to ad-hoc requests.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Qantas group, in addition to developing strong relationships and influence across business functions and reporting structures. You will possess the ability to effectively gather, synthesise and communicate commercial analysis, coupled with the ability to proactively manage multiple projects with a high-level of initiative, judgement and problem-solving skills.

You’ll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a Commercial, Digital, Customer or Professional Services environment, we support development, so excellent academics and motivation are more significant than the length of experience
  • Critical analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with experience in driving business performance and developing commercial insights and recommendations
  • Data analysis, forecasting, financial/commercial modelling, benefit estimation and pack creation skills
  • Strong ability to communicate (both in written and verbal from) and present to senior stakeholders, with a high level of commercial acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate and contribute, working with various stakeholders and prioritising several competing tasks
  • Experience in driving results in a fast-paced and continually changing environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
