As the Principal Process Lead, you will set the strategic direction of the systems and process frameworks that will be required to manage a highly automated and technical Terminal Operation of the future in Western Sydney. This role will be responsible for defining process architecture, frameworks and designing new and optimal operational processes and SOPs for our frontline teams and to enhance efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction. 
 
Reporting to the Manager Global Standards, Service and Quality, this role will be expected to translate complex technical documentation and complicated operating models into simple and effective end-to-end operational and support workflows. Spanning lodgement to the delivery of freight, to ensure the safe and on-time delivery of our freight in day-to-day operations.
 
This role will partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders to understand the operational model, incorporate technology requirements and align with the resourcing strategy to ensure all regulatory and international standards are compliant. In addition, this role has responsibility of the process workstream, to ensure key milestones for the stream are met or exceeded.
 
You’ll have -

  • Minimum 4 years process documentation and process architecture experience
  • Proven experience and understanding of continuous improvement methodologies including Lean Six Sigma would be highly desirable
  • Previous experience in process architecture and development of SOPs at a
    Greenfields site would be highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in highly automated operational environments
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to breakdown complex problems into sizeable chunks
  • Ability to review technical and complex documentation into simple and relevant
    documentation for frontline teams
  • Positive approach to problem solving and the capacity to produce results within
    specific timeframes
  • Ability to communicate effectively, influence, and gain cooperation at all levels of the organisation 
  • Structured and organised and able to provide key updates on all stream activities 
  • Working knowledge and relevant experience of IR processes and requirements. 
  • Strong proficiency in process management tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
