As our next Marketing Executive – New Zealand & Pacific Islands, you’ll play a key role in shaping how one of the most trusted global brands connects with customers. No two days will be the same – you’ll work across a diverse range of projects as a generalist marketer, gaining valuable experience across all areas of the business.  

We’re looking for a passionate, detail-driven marketer with 2–3 years’ experience in delivering integrated campaigns. You’ll be confident juggling multiple projects, working across digital and traditional media, and engaging internal and external stakeholders to bring campaigns to life. Your creativity, strategic mindset and customer-first approach will help strengthen Qantas’ brand presence in the NZ and PI markets. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Strategy development: Support the Regional Marketing Manager to develop an annual strategic consumer-led marketing plan and strategy that will meet Qantas New Zealand & Pacific Island’s KPIs and objectives.  
  • Campaign management: Drive the development and end-to-end management of retail and trade marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, paid media, print, events, etc.) Prepare monthly reports as required.  
  • Brand management: Support the maintenance and enhancement of brand identity across all marketing materials and channels. Ensure brand consistency in messaging, visuals, and tone of voice as per guidelines.  
  • Digital marketing: Manage digital marketing including website updates, monthly newsletters, email marketing, SEO optimisation and paid media campaigns.  
  • Market research and analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and opportunities.  
  • Event coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities. Coordinate logistics, booth setup, and promotional material creation and distribution.  
  • Budget management: Assist in managing marketing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness of marketing initiatives.  

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with 2–3 years’ experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns
  • Exceptional written communication skills and a results-driven, strategic mindset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Confident adapting to new systems, technologies, and processes
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and self-motivation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across all levels
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment; proficient in Microsoft Office suite
