As the Manager, Workspace Experience, you will be responsible for the overall service experience and daily operations of the Qantas Campus and its associated facilities. This role suits a solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adept at managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. 

You will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency across the campus, working in close partnership with the Group Property Operations and Planning team to support and deliver strategic initiatives. A key part of your role involves the commercial management of suppliers, including our three on-site retailers, and providing insightful reporting to support decision-making around contracts and campus-related services. 

In addition to overseeing the mailroom, reception services, and Mascot Precinct carpark, you will lead the implementation of transformation, business improvement, and change initiatives, with a strong emphasis on sustainability practices. Collaboration is central to this role, as you will engage with GMC members, senior executives, and property and leasing teams to optimise space usage through effective property planning and relocation activities. 

You will also work closely with the Facilities Maintenance, Safety, and Internal Communications teams to ensure seamless and efficient Campus operations. This is a high-impact leadership role that demands strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management, and a passion for delivering exceptional workplace experiences. 

You’ll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications / Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline 
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with all levels of stakeholders in the business 
  • Project management experience with proven ability to deliver large scale projects ideally within operational environments 
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with prior customer service or operational experience highly desirable 
  • Proven ability to bring creativity & a commercial lens to solving problems 
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to drive cross functional teams to an outcome 
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple, varied projects and conflicting priorities at one time 
  • The ability to monitor and drive campus safety outcomes 
  • Experience managing large budgets 
  • A keen interest in continually improving the operation and employee experience at our Mascot Campus
