Qantas Ground Services (QGS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas Airways and we’re responsible for providing ground handling and freight services to the Qantas Group.

As the Manager, Customer Performance you will lead the delivery of contractual obligations and performance standards across our customer portfolio. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations and commercial relationships, ensuring safety, service quality, and compliance are consistently met. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive performance across a balanced scorecard of metrics, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial and contract management, with a strong ability to drive supplier performance aligned to operational and service metrics
  • Demonstrated Strategic Thinking - able to identify opportunities and set direction for long-term success
  • Collaborative leadership with strong influencing skills, capable of engaging stakeholders across all levels
  • Proven project planning and execution skills, with a focus on delivering outcomes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, both written and verbal, across senior leaders, peers, and frontline teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with resilience and sound judgment under pressure
