Qualifications

Essential Skills / Qualification Required Years of Experience: Commercial analytics with at least 3 years of profession experience Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualifications in a logical and/or analytical discipline such as economics, mathematics, business, marketing or aviation with at least 3 years of profession experience Key Essential Skills (not desirable skills) • Experience in delivering insights and analytics activities • Exposure/ experience in an entry-level business intelligence or commercial performance role • Exposure/ experience in an entry-level commercial area - e.g. sales or revenue management • Strong presentation and communication skills including ability to present information in written format in a clear, logical manner to facilitate decision making (to senior manager level) • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills • Able to deal with complexity • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics or similar quantitative discipline • Highly numerate with proven analytical ability including trend analysis and manipulation of data • Previous airline/ travel industry experience preferred, but not essential

  • Provide commercial and analytical support to inform senior management and manage UKEMEA business reports.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and contribute to high-level management reports and presentations
  • Full time permanent position based at our London Office

Your new role as Commercial Performance Analyst UKEMEA, you will play a key role in ensuring we make the best commercial decisions in an ever evolving environment where competitors, channels and partners are in a constant state of flux.  You will provide commercial and analytical support to drive market insights that inform and influence senior management decision-making and strategy development. You will be responsible for producing and maintaining business information for the UKEMEA region, including standard reporting, managing agency data, and refreshing regular performance and agent payment reports. Additionally, you will deliver in-depth analytical support for complex topics and contribute to the creation of high-level management reports and presentations. Curiosity around what future analytics looks like, in particular where the use of AI can help magnify our capabilities, would be welcome and encouraged.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a logical and/or analytical discipline such as economics, mathematics, business, marketing, or aviation, with a minimum of 3 years professional experience.
  • Proven experience delivering insights and driving analytics projects that support business objectives.
  • Exposure to or experience in an entry-level business intelligence or commercial performance role.
  • Strong Excel proficiency and willingness to learn Power BI and SQL.
  • Experience or exposure in entry-level commercial functions such as sales or revenue management.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and logically in written and verbal formats, suitable for senior management decision-making.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to navigate and simplify complexity.
  • Highly numerate with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or a similar quantitative discipline, including skills in trend analysis and data manipulation.
  • Previous experience in the airline or travel industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to be flexible and get involved in ad-hoc activities as required, being hard working and possessing a “can-do” attitude are non-negotiables.  We support all regional activities from this office, which means calling on extra hands in circumstances that require it – be that helping at events or supporting at the airport.
