The Jetstar Engineering Team are at the forefront of delivering operational excellence. They are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of our fleet.  We're currently seeking a highly motivated Inventory Officer - Repairs to join this hardworking and high-performing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing large volumes of work, and takes real ownership of their stakeholders, ports, and vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Repair Order Management
• Raise repair orders promptly and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Expediting and Scheduling
• Monitor and expedite repair orders to ensure timely completion and delivery.
• Issue Resolution
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues or delays affecting component availability.
• Quote and Invoice Management
• Review and process vendor repair quotes efficiently.
• Verify and address invoice rejections.
• Respond to Finance and Accounts Payable queries related to aged invoices and manual payments.
• Cross-Department Coordination
• Collaborate with repair vendors, logistics, technical and finance teams to ensure components are available as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with repair vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service agreements.
• Technical Documentation
• Obtain and manage technical data and documentation to support compliant component repairs or exchanges.

We’re on the hunt for someone who has:

• Experience in purchasing, component control, or supply chain (aviation preferred)
• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and emails with excellent attention to detail
• Accountability and a strong sense of ownership for assigned ports, vendors, and tasks
• Confidence working with Excel (moderate level) and willingness to learn systems such as TRAX (full training provided)
• Effective multitasking and stakeholder communication across technical and operational teams
• A proactive attitude, customer-first focus, and strong integrity in all interactions
