Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of aircraft from our base at Perth Airport and we specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying. 

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager, Business Improvement to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role will work closely with the Engineering Leadership Team, the Group Engineering Board, and key business leaders to identify, evaluate, and implement major strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of Group Engineering Board (GEB) initiatives for Network Aviation (NAA) and oversee all short- and long-term transformational projects. These projects span critical focus areas including labour strategy, facilities footprint, technology enablement, commercial management, and other emerging transformational opportunities. This role will also partner with corporate and business functions to ensure alignment with the strategic goals of the Group, Network Aviation Engineering, and Group Engineering.

You’ll have – 

• 8-10 years’ experience at senior management level
• MBA or equivalent tertiary training in Business, Engineering/Management
• Extensive background and proven experience in both change and project
  management
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with an ability to generate pragmatic solutions to joint business problems 
• Strong ability to communicate across all levels of organisations 
• Direct first-hand experience in business process redesign
• Excellent eye for detail – accuracy and thoroughness
