Join Jetstar and play a key role in driving growth across our packages, groups, and tours business by partnering with leading wholesale, leisure, and corporate travel agents. In this newly created role, you’ll design and deliver compelling sales growth plans, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to build forward loads on targeted routes and travel periods. You’ll be responsible for developing strong relationships with key decision makers, promoting Jetstar’s package and group products, supporting booking processes, and influencing agents to feature Jetstar more often. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Jetstar’s low-cost, high-choice model and deliver greater value to our customers.

As of Industry Account Executive, your focus will include:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with wholesale, leisure and corporate travel partners to grow Jetstar’s presence and market share.
  • Develop and deliver sales plans to increase revenue and market share across targeted routes and travel periods.
  • Manage and promote Jetstar’s wholesale fares, group fares, and series group products to ensure competitiveness and value for partners and customers.
  • Influence key travel agents to feature Jetstar more often in packages and itineraries, expanding the range of offers available to customers.
  • Represent Jetstar at industry events and forums, enhancing brand perception and fostering stronger partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise booking tools, processes and support for travel agents.
  • Drive promotional activity with partners to increase awareness of Jetstar destinations and maximise ancillary contribution.
  • Monitor performance reporting, identify opportunities and trends, and provide insights to support continued growth in the packages and groups sector.

About You
We’re searching for someone who:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant business discipline.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Australian travel market.
  • Minimum 3 years’ sales/commercial/account management experience, ideally within an airline or wholesale travel agency.
  • Proven experience in business development and relationship management within a competitive environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence positive outcomes as a challenger brand or business.
  • Skilled in managing senior stakeholders, with excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing change, ambiguity and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools, with a proactive and motivated approach to delivering high-quality results.
