  • Support brand strategy through strong collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • 12-months fixed Term opportunity based at Mascot Head Office.

As the Events & Activations Manager you will manage the delivery of high-quality events for our most valued stakeholders. Passionate and self-motivated with the ability to build strong professional relationships both internally and externally you will identify opportunities to develop and implement cost-effective event concepts. Working with key stakeholders across multiple internal teams you will project manage to drive on-time delivery of diverse events to build the Qantas brand and reputation.

You’ll have –

  • Proven experience managing events to a consistent high standard e.g. Media Events, Product Launches, Conferences, Town Halls, Cocktail functions, Outdoor events and Gala dinners
  • The ability to design events to meet objectives and solve a business problem within an allocated budget
  • A strong ability to leverage the Qantas brand to support the overall communication strategy with a desire to drive affinity and loyalty via events and activations
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, problem solve and work well under pressure
  • Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to liaise with all levels within the organisation
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with Qantas management
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for service excellence
  • The ability to self-start and work autonomously in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Experience in working and negotiating with external and internal suppliers to achieve best outcomes for the business
  • A commitment to Qantas’s safety, risk, insurance and contract management and security policies/standards
  • The ability to organise and run events outside of normal business hours when required
