The Business and System Analyst works closely alongside the Systems and Planning, Dining and Hospitality, Operations, Finance, Group Technology and Commercial Teams. It is accountable for leading, analysing and managing the inflight business and financial mapping for Domestic and International flights for pax and crew to drive the correct Purchase Order, Accruals and inflight spend. This involves managing and accurately updating meal service and handling specifications in our systems to ensure specifications are aligned to inflight specifications as per the menu, including mapping to meet the correct financial spend for inflight food and handling.
This role is also responsible for the regular review of caterer contracts and ensuring appropriate systems and stakeholders are across the correct detail for customer, contract terms, financial/tax mapping and spend management and other relevant systems to meet payment requirements are aligned and updated with the correct details. Further, the role contributes to our ongoing process review and automation for critical mapping through engagement with relevant Business and IT teams, delivering on our accurate inflight spend and meeting audit requirements. This position is accountable for analysing and validating all variations to system generated data for accurate invoices for inflight caterers, by flight and class, and ensuring our suppliers are paid on time as per contract terms.
