Your new role as an AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) will see you deliver quality and reliable maintenance and rectification services to a high standard, while ensuring all WHS and Quality policies and procedures are adhered to. This role will see you working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability, and service.

We’re on the hunt for someone who:

• Has completed Certificate IV in Aeroskills (AU or NZ equivalent), with previous A320/321 experience desirable
• Has excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage self and others
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Has experience in Line Maintenance
• Has a proven commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives
• Has proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands, particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders; and
• Holds a valid driving licence and ability to obtain an Airside Drivers Licence
• Ability to work nightshift and weekend shifts (24/7)

Earning Potential

Jetstar’s Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in New Zealand have an earning potential of over NZ$130K annually (inclusive of allowances, shift penalties, overtime and superannuation).  New starters relocating for these vacancies may receive a generous relocation package, in which eligibility will be discussed throughout our recruitment process. 

We also provide world class training opportunities in order for our team to reach their ultimate earning potential.  Base salary only excluding all above inclusions NZ$ 96,482.14.
