Working within the QantasLink Services portfolio, the Senior People & Culture Manager acts as the strategic HR business lead to a broad stakeholder group, working closely with senior business leaders including the Executive Manager QantasLink Operations & Services , Heads of departments and Business Managers.

This position will co-design, lead and implement our strategic people plans, initiatives, programs and procedures. The role will encompass ownership of a broad range of people activities including Organisational Design and Change Management, Industrial Relations, Talent Management, Compensation and Leadership Development programs, both within the context of BAU and transformation activities.

More specifically this role will support the evolution of our QantasLink Airports and Ground Operations strategy in addition to supporting the overall growth of the QantasLink business unit.

The Senior People & Culture Manager will play a key role in ensuring the growth, development and engagement of the QantasLink Services workforce to deliver strategic business objectives and ongoing alignment to the culture and ways of working across the Qantas Group. You will collaborate and work with the People Group more broadly and lead and continue to develop a small team.

You will have –

  • Demonstrated ability to partner strategically at a senior level with leadership teams in a large, complex and geographically dispersed organisation
  • Leadership experience in embedding significant operational change in support of a growth strategy
  • Strong understanding of the Australian industrial and workplace relations environment
  • Experience being a strategic thinker and developing and implementing people plans
  • Proven ability managing significant change and building organisational capability
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence senior leaders with complex people requirements
  • Highly developed business and commercial acumen and the ability to effectively use HR data and analytics to drive people solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating and working within a highly collaborative team dynamic
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to engage and develop a team.
  • Drive to succeed, motivated
  • Broad understanding of the full range of people functions
