Altitude: The Gender Inclusion Network

The Altitude Network is our employee resource group focused on connecting, educating and engaging everyone to support gender inclusion across the Group. The network supports delivery of the Qantas Group’s Gender Strategy and provides an employee voice into issues impacting gender equality

We challenge stereotypes and promote gender diversity through our scholarship program at the Qantas Group Pilot Academy, aimed at encouraging women and First Nations People to pursue a career in aviation. Discover more.

Illuminate: The LGBTQI+ & Ally Network

Illuminate is our employee resource group supporting LGBTQI+ employees and allies, promoting workplace inclusivity free from bullying, harassment, and discrimination. We offer information, support, and advocacy training. Our annual Illuminate Conference brings members together for celebration, learning, and connection

As a long-term partner of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras organisation, we were proud to give a member of our Cabin Crew the opportunity to attend the Mardi Gras Parade and World Pride, 2023.

Life Ages and Stages

We're committed to supporting our employees at every stage of life. Our initiatives include the Little Joeys program, supporting employees transitioning to and from parental leave, and a platform offering parenting and caring resources. 

We also provide support for members of the defence community and employees transitioning into retirement.

Cultural Diversity

We’re proud to embrace employees from all cultural backgrounds and value the unique perspectives and insights they bring. We’ve introduced our membership with the Asian Leadership Project, enabling employees to attend networking and awareness-raising events. We look forward to launching an employee resource group for culturally diverse employees and allies.
