Project Analyst - Revenue Accounting

Jetstar Airways is seeking a highly skilled and driven Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our Financial Control team. This exciting role will play a pivotal part in driving the financial success of our Jetstar Branded Airlines (JBAs) across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Revenue Accounting, you will represent Finance and Revenue Accounting within our project working group, ensuring the seamless implementation and optimal commercial outcomes of key projects.

As part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with the project lead, FP&A, and various business units, playing a key role in ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition throughout each phase of project implementation. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on the business by delivering high-quality financial support, driving efficiency, and meeting strategic goals.

You’ll have

• CPA/CA or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential).
• Experience in project-based financial environments is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, experience in revenue accounting with the ability to apply them to complex projects.
• Demonstrated experience in working within cross-functional teams, including finance, business units, and project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, with a keen attention to detail and deadlines, including but not limited to gathering business requirements, testing, documentation, accounting validation, business reporting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
