As the Senior Manager, Network Turbine Solutions (NTS) Ground Services you will be responsible for the overall strategic leadership of the Ground Services Operation for Network Aviation across Perth Airport. The role is responsible for setting strategy and ensuring overall performance of the operations to achieve safety, service, operational, people, regulatory and financial KPIs. 

You will  have direct management of NTS ground handling as well oversight of some 3rd party ground handlers, as well as being an active contributor in local and national performance improvement programs.   This role will also require active participation and leadership across all the Qantas Group entities in the WA region to deliver a seamless ground operation.  
 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • 6+ years in a senior leadership role managing suppliers and/or operations. 
  • Broad understanding across all aspects of the airline business, with related airport experience in operations, compliance, safety, security and people leadership. 
  • Previous experience in managing large operational teams and supplier relationships. 
  • Previous experience in facilitating, influencing, and leading without authority, to achieve outcomes through business partners and suppliers.  
  • Strong business partnering skills including the ability to build strong relationships, support partners with actionable insights and constructively challenge where appropriate.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal with a wide range of  
  • stakeholders, peers, and frontline staff.  
  • A proven record of successfully managing change and implementing continuous improvement activities.
