The Senior Agile Business Analyst will help drive the business strategy for Program Value across Loyalty and translate strategies into IT and product initiatives, analyse customer business strategies and plans, processes and practices as well as industry trends and make recommendations in quantifiable terms on where product changes could produce benefits such as reduction in unit cost of operation, enhanced productivity and improved decisions related to the programs home and personalised experiences.

With a thorough understanding of business vision and context, the Senior Agile Business Analyst transforms customer and business problems into solutions, and validates the feasibility of the strategic objectives of the Product Manager.

The Senior Agile Business Analyst proposes the CVP (Commercial Value Proposition) and business rules to ensure it is technically feasible for delivery, factoring cost to deliver and viability to ensure we focus on building the right features at the right time whilst also ensuring the acceptance criteria is adequately defined to ensure the overall quality of the solution delivered to the customer in order for the product owner to accept the work as done.

Passionate about customer innovation, driving value and with a solid grasp of analytics, the Senior Agile Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and defining improvements to features, customer and user journey mapping, gathering information to make decisions, ensures quality assurance / test solutions and effectively communicates in detail how features and processes work to ensure successful implementation from a change management perspective.

You’ll have:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
  • Degree qualified in Finance / commerce, IT, engineering, data science or applied math
  • Knowledge of and passion for data, analytics and customer innovation
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and user experience design principles.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and actionable criteria
  • Organised and well structured
  • Strategic thinker with advanced problem-solving skills to navigate complexity
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • A strong customer orientation
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
  • Ability to take ownership of work streams and deliver autonomously Strong relationship builder and influencer at all levels across a complex enterprise, capable of delivering through others
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly evolving situations
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
