As a Sales Support Advisor you will play a key role in supporting the Qantas Regional Leadership and local Sales teams by providing expert guidance on Qantas products, services, policies, and procedures. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth and improving market share by delivering exceptional support to key customers. Strong communication skills are essential for advising on sales strategies, managing escalations, and resolving customer issues efficiently.

This position involves processing payments for agents, corporates, and partners, overseeing QDP, Qantas Channel, group booking support, and maintaining Salesforce updates. The role also requires proficiency in CRM and GDS systems, along with a strong understanding of pricing, fares, and reporting. A solid commercial and operational mindset is critical to making informed decisions while ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service or reservations, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent from a recognized university or institute.
  • Strong ability to work independently with sound decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service in a complex business environment.
  • Solid understanding of fares, ticketing, public and private tariffs, and pricing systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and IT systems.
  • Highly developed communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to escalate and resolve issues effectively.
