At Qantas, we’re proud of our history—and excited about our future. As the spirit of Australia, we connect people with experiences that matter. Now, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Change Manager (People Programs) to help shape the future of our People & Culture function.

Your new role:

As the Change Manager (People programs), you’ll lead impactful strategic and operational change management across our Organisational Development & Inclusion portfolio, with a key focus on strategic people projects that elevate the way we work. This includes driving transformation initiatives designed to enhance performance, talent, and remuneration processes, with the goal of building and nurturing a high performance culture.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders, HRBPs, and project teams to drive meaningful change, inspire and engage stakeholders and maximise impact. You’ll be the go-to advisor for change management best practices, guiding how we support and empower our people through transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead change initiatives, especially across strategic people projects.
  • Design and implement tailored change strategies, governance frameworks, and readiness plans.
  • Conduct detailed change impact assessments across people, process, and technology.
  • Build and execute stakeholder engagement plans that drive alignment and support.
  • Coach leaders and uplift internal capability around leading change.
  • Monitor effectiveness of change interventions using pulse checks, metrics, and feedback loops.
  • Proactively manage risk and escalate change-related challenges.

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years' experience leading complex organisational change programs.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR, or Change Management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels—including unionised environments.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute at pace in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Proven ability to coach, uplift leadership capability, and embed change effectively.

Why Qantas?
