The National Account Manager Agency Partnerships is responsible for managing the relationship with a portfolio of Agency Partners to maximise Qantas’ market share, revenue and cost of sale targets. The National Account Manager will play an active role in the planning and execution of the large market corporate, SME and leisure segment account strategy within Agency Partnerships, where cultivating strong relationships, both internal and external, identifying and executing on incremental revenue opportunities, and delivering end to end account management is critical. 

You’ll have – 

  • Knowledge of the Corporate / Industry / Leisure channel accounts, business models, and competitors including online travel agents 
  • Strategic selling, account management, contract negotiation and business planning skills developed in a competitive sales environment 
  • Strong commercial orientation and high level of business acumen 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results within a complex business environment with varying stakeholder needs and expectations 
  • Highly developed negotiation, communication, organisational, and leadership skills at senior levels, both internally and externally 
  • Experience in strategy development and implementation 
  • Exceptional presentation skills 
  • Drives to exceed goals 
  • Demonstrated ability to offers unique perspectives on business issues, analyse data and information, and create customised solutions for customers 
  • Experience in leading and driving change. 
  • People management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop high performing teams 
  • Extensive knowledge and awareness of the airline and travel industry 
  • Extensive knowledge of the airline and travel industries, Qantas product, processes, and pricing strategies 
  • High level of IT literacy, including a good working knowledge of reporting, CRM systems and indirect booking channels (including NDC)
