The Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) is accountable for the delivery of our aircraft flying schedule for Domestic and International operations. Within the operations centre sit IOC Operations Planning, a team who strive to assist the operation to deliver on-time performance targets.  

As the IOC Operational Program Manager, you will lead and drive large-scale operational initiatives through program management practices, aligning programs with strategic goals, effective governance, optimising resource allocation, and fostering communication and collaboration, you will drive the successful delivery of our operational initiatives.  

You will be accountable for designing and implementing operational programs to address shortcomings across the business. In addition, you will need to work cross functionally, leading discussions with stakeholders to evolve policies and ensure alignment of strategies with operational changes.   

You’ll have –  

  • 5+ years’ experience in an airline/airport operational environment  
  • Proven Change Management and Project Management experience  
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written, with an ability to present to senior management  
  • Excellent problem-solving, strong negotiation and influencing skills to effectively address even the most resistant stakeholders and challenging situations.   
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organisation   
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and adapt as needed and can find creative solutions to challenges. 
  • Detailed understanding of the airline business, including operations and commercial activity and priorities  
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to deal with ambiguity, complexity and confidential information  
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team as required, using initiative to meet tight deadlines  
  • Flexible and sensitive when dealing with different viewpoints, styles and cultures  
  • Superior time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks concurrently and still deliver quality output
