  • 18-month contract role based at our Qantas Campus in Mascot

The Manager, Lounge Development Strategy is responsible for shaping and delivering Qantas’ lounge investment strategy across our regional, domestic and international network. Leading the capital investment planning process, you will work with key stakeholders such as Commercial Airports, Group Leasing, Group Property, and Lounge Service Design and Development to build robust business cases that balance customer benefit, capital spend, commercial outcomes and delivery timelines. The role is also responsible for defining the overarching lounge design strategy, using customer, operational and commercial insights to inform consistent design standards across all lounge tiers. This includes working with Industrial Design partners and Architects to set requirements for palette, furniture and functionality to ensure a cohesive, premium customer experience aligned with the Qantas brand. 

You'll have: 

  • Extensive background in strategy, planning or investment management, with impact in operational sectors 
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, strategy, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic investment plans in complex environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer insights and translate them into commercial strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex plans to executive audiences. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term strategic visions while managing immediate business needs.
