Technology is a big part of how we continue to pioneer our way forward. With eyes on the future, our IT team harness technology on a global scale and tailor local solutions for each of our ports. Together we’ll show you it’s possible to make an impact, and to never underestimate what you’re capable of achieving.

The Senior Manager, Change Management (Enterprise Change Practice Lead) is responsible for building and maturing the change capability within Qantas Technology's Enterprise PMO and portfolio of strategic programs. It establishes enterprise-wide change frameworks, tools, and governance to provide visibility, coordination, and minimise business disruption. In close collaboration with delivery teams, the role ensures consistent use of change methodologies, reduces change fatigue, and strengthens organisational resilience.

As part of the Enterprise PMO Leadership Team, the role leads the development of change management playbooks, impact assessment tools, and capability uplift programs, embedding a people-centred approach to transformation.  As a People Leader, the role is responsible for recruiting and retaining top talent, and for coaching, mentoring, and developing the Enterprise Change team

You’ll have:

  • Minimum 10 years in change management and transformation roles, including 5+ years in leadership or practice management.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Change Management, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Track record of driving adoption of change disciplines, coaching change leads, and championing continuous improvement and leading enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in various enterprise change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI-ADKAR, agile change, lean portfolio management, human-centric design).
  • Proven ability to scale change capabilities in large, matrixed organisations.
  • Experience with large-scale technology transformations, particularly in the aviation or service industry.
  • Demonstrated success in building change capability and enhancing organisational maturity.
  • Strong portfolio management skills; able to balance priorities and manage constrained resources.
  • Working knowledge of agile delivery and integrating change management in iterative environments.
  • Experienced with digital adoption platforms, change analytics, and portfolio tools (e.g. Clarity).
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity and complexity in fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent communicator across written, verbal, and visual formats, and confident presenting to executives.
