As the Component and Configuration Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the Aircraft Configuration & Component management for the QantasLink Dash-8 & A220 fleet is accurately reflected in the companies Maintenance Information System (TRAX) and remains compliant with all applicable National Airworthiness Authority Regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for updating the TRAX system with new components of aircraft type. You will also monitor major component assemblies to ensure the modification status is accurately reflected for fitment and work closely with the Technical Service Engineers, Maintenance Planning & Receipt Compliance Officers, along with other key stakeholders within the business. You will also be required support the greater Airworthiness team when needed.
 

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • High level attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work as a team and individually
  • Process driven with strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience using Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Previous TRAX experience (desirable)
  • Aircraft component knowledge (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Airline approved data (IPC, AMP, CMM) (desirable).
