  • Influence senior leaders including Group Leadership Team (GLT) and Board through insights and continuous improvement 

At Qantas Engineering, we drive innovation and operational excellence across the most iconic aviation projects in the world. We’re seeking a Program Evaluation Manager to join our Operations Delivery team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the success and strategic alignment of high-profile initiatives such as Project Sunrise and Project Winton. 

This is a highly visible role offering direct engagement with executive leadership. You’ll lead independent program reviews, develop evaluation frameworks, and ensure project health, performance, and accountability meet our safety, regulatory and business expectations. 

In this role, you’ll – 

  • Conduct evidence-based assessments across engineering program scope, cost, schedule, risk and quality 
  • Provide assurance to senior leaders, ensuring alignment with strategic, regulatory, and safety objectives 
  • Lead the development of standardised program governance and evaluation tools 
  • Partner with project teams to embed continuous improvement and deliver post-implementation insights 
  • Support audit readiness and cross-functional stakeholder engagement across all program phases 
  • Influence decisions and drive delivery outcomes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment 

You’ll have – 

  • 10+ years' experience in aviation project delivery and strategic program governance 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a related field 
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at Board and GLT levels 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills 
  • Experience with aircraft project development and execution 
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and confidence to lead in complex, fluid environments
