Business Performance Analyst

We are looking for a Business Performance Analyst to join our team within Qantas Engineering – Base Maintenance to help ensure our business is armed with the necessary data and insights to ensure successful and efficient delivery of base and intermediate maintenance checks to our customers.

As a Business Performance Analyst, you will provide key analysis, insights, and decision support across multiple departments including leadership within Base Maintenance, helping to drive strategic initiatives and performance improvements across the business whilst following standardised and governed reporting methodologies.  Your experience in data analytics and business intelligence will be crucial in delivering actionable insights that inform tactical and strategic decisions.

You'll have

• Proven experience in business analysis, financial modelling, or performance reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in presenting data and the story it tells in a structured, clear and concise way
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team goals.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for business improvement.
