We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior People Consultant to join our team, reporting directly to the Senior People & Culture Manager – QantasLink. In this pivotal role, you will become a trusted partner to Business Unit managers, providing leadership, advice, and coaching to support the growth, development, and engagement of our people.

As Senior People Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of strategic initiatives and people programs across the employee lifecycle. This includes supporting key HR activities and initiatives, while also assisting with day-to-day business-as-usual operations across multiple diverse teams.

  • 3-5 years of HR-related experience, with a proven track record in providing HR solutions in an operational environment.
  • Experience in change management and consulting, with a strong understanding of strategic HR practices and their impact on business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and complexity while maintaining discretion and strict confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex environments (e.g., managing multiple business units and navigating numerous industrial awards).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working with employees at all levels of the organisation and adapting to diverse work styles.
