The Senior Analyst/Coordinator – Catering Operations is the key point of contact for inflight catering logistics across Qantas’ domestic and international network. In this standalone role, you’ll monitor performance, manage disruptions, and provide data-driven insights to support safe and efficient catering operations. Working closely with our high-performing catering operations team, you’ll help ensure the seamless execution of daily activities while supporting broader strategic initiatives.  

This role is ideal for an operations-focused analyst who can manage day-to-day challenges while driving continuous improvement. You’ll engage with stakeholders across Product & Service, Commercial, Menu Design, Network Scheduling, Engineering, Cabin Crew OHS, Inflight Service Design, and Catering Contractors to support high service standards. Additionally, you’ll act as a subject matter expert in the planning and implementation of new catering contracts across both onshore and offshore ports.  

You’ll have: 

  • Strong coordination and time management skills to manage communications and priorities 
  • Experience supporting end-to-end operational processes, ideally in catering or logistics 
  • Proficiency in reporting and analysing operational data 
  • A track record of contributing to continuous improvement and project initiatives 
  • The ability to work independently while seeking support when needed 
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • An agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities 
  • A curious, analytical approach with strong attention to detail
