- $95,000 - $115,000USD per year

Your new role as Sales Account Manager will see you manage a portfolio of key customers in the North America Leisure Industry, OTA or Cruise sector as defined under a specific portfolio of accounts. You will work to maximise revenue, increase yield, retain existing business and develop new business opportunities as well as understand the customer strategy, and develop a strong, robust relationship with the customer.
You’ll have –
- Selling, account management and business planning skills developed in a competitive customer service environment across Leisure or Corporate sales
- Initiative to plan, create and deliver all required training to front line consultants and managers for all accounts within the portfolio (ex; Qantas fare products, the customer experience, Qantas Frequent Flyer program, and key strategic alliance partners)
- Strong commercial sales orientation and a solid level of business acumen
- Confident negotiation, communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to contribute to the development of strategies for revenue generation, cost of sale reductions, channel shift and business retention
- Understanding of Alliance networks and a unified sales approach with mutual customers
- Solid knowledge and awareness of the North American airline and travel industry
- Current understanding of technology innovations within travel industry (NDC)
- Strong communication skills and can communicate effectively at all levels of management, both internally and externally
- A valid drivers’ licence
- High level of IT literacy, including a good working knowledge of MS Office, high level knowledge of Salesforce.com
