The primary purpose of our Production Planner is to plan all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requests from the Part 42 organizations.  This involves ensuring that the Engineering line maintenance team has adequate facilities, resources, parts and tooling to carry out all maintenance safely, compliantly, efficiently as possible and on schedule, in line with contractual agreements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Through successful Production Planning initiatives, drive continual excellence in safety, compliance, on time performance and AMO brand values
  • Liaise and build relationships with key stakeholders from both the Part 145 and various Part 42 organisations
  • Relentlessly seeking ‘new ways’ to meet customer needs and support the business to achieve critical business goals
  • Implement new processes and procedures within the AMO Production Planning business, using identified critical business tools to drive, significant and sustainable long-term change, both in the Pre-Planning & Execution phases of maintenance
  • Review of the Customer Maintenance Plans to ensure all Production Planning requirements have been covered
  • Represent Melbourne Engineering at CAMO/AMO daily planning and OTP meetings
  • Provide detailed AMO performance reports to the AMO Production Planning Manager and Melbourne Precinct Managers

We would like to hear from you if you are a hardworking, motivated and pro-active person who enjoys working in a fast paced and sometimes unpredictable environment.  You should be organised and logical with meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to work within a team environment and autonomously where required.
