Reporting to our Manager Purchasing, Inventory and Repairs, our Inventory Analysts are responsible review, analyse and maintain accurate inventory levels across all national and international Jetstar ports for our Jetstar Engineering business.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Building custom PowerQuery, PowerBI and SQL queries to meet data-reporting and KPI metrics, requirements from Jetstar Engineering.
  • Develop cost effective and dynamic inventory models, ensuring correct inventory levels are maintained in an effective manner to support Jetstar Australia/NZ and Jetstar Asia fleet.
  • Monitor usage patterns across network and determine is correct MIN/MAX levels are set.
  • Carry out spares float analysis to determine if correct level of component spares are being maintained to support current fleet.
  • Collaboration with other Jetstar branded businesses to drive cross-business outcomes 
  • Report stock take financials for each location and reposition displaced stock worldwide for operational use.
  • Action scrap of rotable and repairable aircraft spares and determine if reprovisioning is required.
  • Assist with vendor catalog parts price upload campaign each year.
  • Manage centralised inventory inbox with ad-hoc inventory queries from the engineering business.
  • For new aircraft types and for fleet growth, analyse aircraft manufacturers and OEM’s IP recommendations (RSPL).
  • Maintain the integrity of the TRAX system, through constant and accurate update

 

We are on the hunt for someone who has experience, qualifications and attributes including:

  • Purchasing and Component Control
  • Experience in Inventory Management / Optimisation within a Supply Chain environment
  • Supply Chain experience
  • Component Control Experience with the ability to develop an understanding of Aircraft industry Component Control or Purchasing
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Outlook and Excel
  • Proven experience building PowerQuery, PowerBI and SQL queries.
